“Without captions, people in the ‘hearing’ sector have very limited access to most media. Everyday life can become limited, communication may be limited to text messages and emails. Many cannot hear radio or television. Without captions, it becomes very, very difficult. Able is a vital organisation – it’s a must-have; not a nice-to-have.”
