Antiques, cops, trivia, drama and mystery are coming your way! From 13th February 2016, captions will be available on some programmes on Prime.  Antiques Roadshow, Unforgotten, Limitless, University Challenge, Elementary and NCIS: New Orleans are just a few of the shows that will have captioning available on Prime.

We’re excited to be adding Prime to our other captioned channels – TV ONE, TV2, TV3 and FOUR. Adding a new channel widens the variety of content available for Deaf and hard of hearing Kiwis, and there are some fantastic shows coming up on Prime!

As we announced back in November, SKY have invested in the necessary equipment to allow the broadcast of captions, which are provided by Able and fully funded by NZ On Air. Adding captions to Prime is a significant milestone for media accessibility in New Zealand.

Sign up to Able’s newsletter to receive the weekly list of captioned programmes across all the channels, or check out our two-day listings closer to the launch date, or have a look for the ear logo next to programmes on your TV’s electronic programme guide. It’s Prime viewing!
