We have a special line-up of captioned programming to commemorate Anzac Day tomorrow, all on TV ONE.
9am – Sons of Gallipoli. A documentary in which students from Auckland’s Sacred Heart College make a pilgrimage to the battlegrounds of Gallipoli to honour the old boys who fought and died there.
10am – Our Navy: Sailing Into History. On the 75th Anniversary of the Royal New Zealand Navy, this documentary follows the frigate HMNZS Te Kaha and her crew of 188 on a six-month journey around the world. From commemorations in Gallipoli and R & R in Istanbul to hunting drug smugglers off the coast of Africa, this insightful look at our modern navy shows the work they do and the sacrifices made as they spend months at a time away from their loved ones.
11am – Coverage of the National Commemorative Service live from the Pukeahu National War Memorial Park in Wellington.
We hope you have a special Anzac Day.
Lest we forget.
